Social Marketing for TEDxTemecula's Annual Conference - TEDxTemecula

The one-day conference brings together local speakers and community members for a day of sharing ideas through presentations by dynamic speakers and performers.
The organizers of TEDxTemecula asked the team at Modmacro to help them spread the word about the event through a series of targeted Facebook ads. We crafted five unique Facebook ads, each focusing on a different aspect of the event, and rolled them out over the course of five weeks leading up to the day. The advertising campaign reached nearly 18,000 local people and resulted in more than 600 click-throughs to the TEDxTemecula website.
Toward the end of the advertising campaign, TEDxTemecula Marketing Director Anique Mautner said,
“In the past five weeks, we gained page likes on Facebook—pushing us across the 1,000 threshold! Much of this is due to the terrific paid digital ads that the Modmacro team have been running for us. Thank you for sharing your time, expertise, and enthusiasm. This has been a very successful campaign. We’re getting close to selling out!”
