Modmacro, Inc. takes part in community, pro bono, and volunteer work, and in some cases we are the driving force for new ideas and the creator of initiatives to support our community, both locally and regionally. Our Community Initiatives are simple, practical efforts and services that we provide to the community, asking nothing in return. They are not guilt-driven, they are not promotional schemes masked as altruism, and they are not misguided “social justice” nonsense.
Some of our Community Initiatives include…
TEDx Temecula – Patron-level partner for 2018 conference. Our team assisted with social media outreach to the surrounding community to raise awareness of the event and drive ticket sales. More at http://www.tedxtemecula.com/
TEDx Temecula – Affiliate-level partner for 2017 conference. More at http://www.tedxtemecula.com/
TEDx Temecula – Donor-level partner for 2016 conference. More at http://www.tedxtemecula.com/
Ellie Kerley Worship Music – Core contributor to Ellie Kerley’s Kickstarter campaign to produce her first album.
Nepal Missions Trip – 10 high school students, led by experienced missionaries from Sunridge Community Church in Temecula, Ca are traveling to Nepal to share the Gospel and plant churches. This is Sunridge’s first international missions trip where the team being sent is entirely comprised of high schoolers. Modmacro donated funds to support the trip.
Relief Market – Relief Market is a giving marketplace. The first of its kind. Serving local communities by providing a simple way for those in need to find items others no longer use. Individuals post extra items, and people search the system to find items they’re in need of. It’s a completely free, web-based service available to anyone.
Church Camp Scholarships – Each year the middle school ministry (called Quest) at Sunridge Community Church in Temecula, Ca takes junior highers to winter camp at Forest Home. Modmacro often donates funds in the form of scholarships for families who cannot afford to send their kids.
7 Steps Back – 7 Steps Back is a simple philosophy that applies equally well to businesses and organizations of all types; and to life in general for that matter. From a short distance away, it’s often much easier to understand problems, clearly identify solutions, and recognize opportunities. It’s the outside perspective that we can offer to one another.
We host a monthly get together with local small business owners wherein each person has the opportunity to discuss their business and present challenges they face. Group members then offer suggestions, discuss similar experiences and provide ideas that aid one another.
Private Education Grants – Our private education grants are gifts offered from private organizations to students. They are not a loan. Our private education grants are not repaid, nor do they come with the usual government strings and complexities associated with grants. As such, our grants are among the simplest and most straightforward anywhere. Our goal is to provide helpful funding support to students who demonstrate deservedness, without imposing the absurd process typically required by grantors. These grants are provided strictly to private individuals, from private sector donor companies. Coming soon…
