During the sales phase we’ll work with you to learn about your organization and establish specific goals for your website. Once we’ve created a solid plan we’ll document it and provide it to you with a quotation. Our process is simple and you’ll know where your project stands at all times…
1
Start Project // A project officially begins when we receive the signed quote and deposit.
2
Establish Completion Date // Shortly after the project kick-off, we’ll set the estimated completion date and communicate it to you. That date goes on our project calendar and becomes the goal. In most cases we’re collaborating with the client on important decisions and website content, so it’s important to remember that keeping on schedule is everyone’s responsibility.
3
Approve Sitemap // We often have the sitemap nailed down as part of the quotation that’s already been approved. If it needs more definition or a little clarification this is when we’ll do it. Sitemap approval is required by the client before continuing development.
4
Approve Design // This is the stage where the page layout and look of your site is created. We’ll provide full-size mockups for your approval. Once those are approved we’re ready to continue with front-end development.
5
Deliver Live Draft // Once the site is mostly complete we’ll provide you with a link to review it. This gives you access to a full-functioning, live website. You can see how navigation works, how the pages flow, and gain a real feel for the experience visitors will have.
6
Finish // We’ll make any tweaks that result from the review process and finish up the site. Our copyeditor will review everything for spelling, grammar and style consistency. Then we’ll launch your new site and get it indexed in Google and the other search engines.
