Earlier this month, Matt Smith, Modmacro CEO, and author of the recently published book Kill the Noise, was a guest of honor at a Books & Brews event sponsored by the book’s publisher, Maven Publishing USA. The event also featured AVPA President Matthew Grisafe and his book, Our Code.
The event was held at Iron Fist Brewing Company, a family owned craft brewery located in the San Diego area. Attendees of the Books & Brews event were able to pick up a copy of Kill the Noise and Our Code and have them signed by their respective authors. Jessica Dawson, CEO of Maven Publishing, was also on hand to answer questions about the process of turning a business owner into a published author, and why a business owner might want to consider becoming one.
We’d like to thank all of Modmacro’s clients and friends who came out for the Books & Brews event. It was a fun night, with great beer and conversation. It was also a great night to connect with clients, celebrate the completion of the book project, and thank everyone who helped make it possible.
