We recently designed some refrigerator magnets for a client, and that got us thinking about “leave behind” marketing. Are you a business that goes to people’s homes or places of business? Have you thought about what you can leave with your customer (besides a bill or receipt) that will cause them to think of you and call you back for more business? There are the typical notepads and calendars with your company logo, but at Modmacro, we like to be creative.
The key is to leave something useful or informative. Something that won’t be immediately thrown away. Maybe it’s a slick brochure with helpful phone numbers (local law enforcement, fire department, animal control, etc.) or community resources that has your logo and business information on the back. Or something more industry-specific, like a flyer with a suggested maintenance schedule if you’re a repair business.
You could also use your business card as your leave-behind piece. Utilize the space on backside of the card as a coupon for a percentage off your customer’s next purchase. The ideas are limitless. Contact us and we can talk about one that works for you and your business.
